Brian Barron

After joining the BBC in 1965, Barron made his name as a resourceful and determined television correspondent, reporting on such momentous events as the fall of Saigon in 1975, civil war in Rhodesia, the 1982 Falklands conflict, the Tiananmen Square massacre in 1989 and the first Gulf War in 1990-91.
