Bebe Barron

Alongside her husband, Louis, Barron created the groundbreaking and distinctive electronic score for the Tempest-inspired sci-fi film, Forbidden Planet (1956). The couple continued to collaborate for many years despite divorcing in 1970, creating electronic music for the theatre, television and short films including Bridges-Go-Round (1958) and Space Boy (1973).
