Best known for his work with Ken Russell, Baird produced Mahler (1974) and Lisztomania (1975) for the director having previously served as associate producer on Women In Love (1969). He produced Henry The Eighth and His Six Wives (1972) for television, with other movies including Quadrophenia (1979) and McVicar (1980).
