Son of the long-lived character actor of the same name, Albert made his movie debut aged 11 in The Fool Killer (1965) going on to appear in films including Butterflies Are Free (1972), Midway (1976) and The Greek Tycoon (1978). Away from acting he was concerned with environmental causes.
