A former model, Adams was dubbed ‘Britain’s Marilyn Monroe’ and brought glamour to a string of supporting roles in films such as Doctor At Sea (1955), The Constant Husband (1955), The Green Man (1956), Private’s Progress (1956), Brothers In Law (1957) and the Australian feature Dust In The Sun (1958).
