Celebrating 25 years since the release of his groundbreaking 3D space simulator, Elite, David Braben shares his unique perspective on combining cutting-edge technology with innovative gameplay.

Going from 8-bit programming to a 32-bit machine was absolute heaven... you could do so much more with it.

In this BAFTA Guru video, Braben is interviewed by Phil Elliott, Managing Editor of GamesIndustry.biz. He reflects on a career that includes founding the independent Cambridge developer Frontier, whose releases include the LostWinds (the launch title for Nintendo's WiiWare digital download service), the BAFTA-nominated Dog's Life and Wallace & Gromit In Project Zoo.
