"Where do people get off saying that MW3 is better than BF3? I mean really.. I am a hardcore gamer who prefers both, but come on.. I mean really? MW3 the online multiplayer just plain sucks, as does the player base. BF3 has a interesting story and an amazing multiplayer. MW3 is repetitive and BF3 actually takes strategy. If you suck at BF3 than don't say it sucks, it may have glitches here and there but the developers jumped on it quickly and now they are mostly fixed, but all great projects have minor flaws that can be fixed with duct tape. I prefer MW3 if I want to own some people quickly with no real strategy or if I want to plan out attacks and what not I will go with BF3. Most of the people that don't do good at good games do well at MW3. Just let that last sentence sink in a little."

"@milad Skyrim could have been the best game ever, but to may glitchs.Dint deserve to win for that reason. Dissapointed nothing for from dust.Glad to see the worse over hyped series ever COD/MW, Didn’t get nothing. "

bjolly

(19-14-2012)

"BF3 deserves the wins it received. The online multiplayer experience is unmatched right now. I'm surprised Portal 2 got best game, but then again, the bugs in Skyrim really hurt its potential success. Overall, not a bad list of nominees & winners."

milad

(19-24-2012)

"what.portal2 best game? you kiding me? skyrim is the best game of 2011 and best music by jeremy soul"

Abhishek

(19-23-2012)

"Crysis 2 should have won the award for original music but it was not even nominated .....stupid awards ...."

KanyeVu

(19-23-2012)

"poor Dead Space 2"

Conor

(19-23-2012)

"Im very happy Battlefield 3 won best multiplayer as it is an AMAZING online experience and as for MW3 it is the same every year with the exception of different maps, weapons etc. I mean dont get me wrong MW3 is a good game on its own but BF3 is much better. Just because it has sold more then BF3 does'nt mean its better. Im also very surprised Skyrim did'nt win original music as the music was incredable, it made me cry. "

Bob Smith

(19-22-2012)

"Ha ha nothing for the 'all mighty' MW3. From Dust was robbed for inovation and Stephen Merchant should have got Performer."

AIDROOS

(17-56-2012)

"LA Noire in no way should have lost to portal 2. And Battlefield 3 was not even nominated in the action genre."

MEow

(17-03-2012)

"lol.. Battlefield 3 rules"

pdommy

(17-03-2012)

"I was hoping Uncharted 3 would win one :( Congrats to BF3 though!!"

nerraruzi

(17-03-2012)

"seriously, skyrim should win for music, video, story and design!! I've never seen any games quite like it"

NikbHoY

(17-02-2012)

"battlefield beat MW3 because MW3 is the same thing over and over again I've played cod since the first MW and it just the same thing with different maps and guns and perks but the story is good but not as good as BATTLEFIELD 3! ( skyrim should of won as well )"

Lee

(17-02-2012)

"MW3 didn't deserve to win and these people crying about are just the kiddies that fuel the repetitive production of that garbage, I say BF3 because its the first game since 2007 that has been able to stop me playing Call of Duty 4 MW1 every night."

Dan Faz

(17-32-2012)

"Battlefield 3 - AWSOME MW3 - A childrens game"

dsa

(17-32-2012)

"oh god who vote battlfield3.only skyrim best game of 2011"

Joe Bolton

(17-32-2012)

"Where is MW3, the story and multiplayer is better than battlefield 3, I own both and perhaps for one of the first times COD was better than battlefield, the only thing battlefield was better than COD on was audio but that was only due to massive funding and superior technology. Even though all of these thing SHOULD make battlefield better it didn't because bf3 isn't fun whereas MW3 is."

Whiterabbit-uk

(17-38-2012)

"Although I think Battlefield 3 is supeb i think Skyrim deserved at least one win. I cannot believe it won so many awards; especially when EA won't let it sell on Steam. Although BF3 was highly anticipated, having been mooded shortly after BF2i42 was released back in 2007, Skyrim was equally or moreso anticipated. "

Thomas

(17-38-2012)

"Battlefield deserved to win the best multiplayer, because of its 64-player experience, vehicles and many other reasons. I am glad that MW3 did not win because it is the same as MW2 and Modern Warfare. Same as Fifa 12, every year its the same game with a different number. Skyrim deserved could have gotten an award if it wasn't so damn bug filled and outdated. "

Spider-Abu

(17-13-2012)

"LOL Skyrim is crap compared to the mighty Arkham City and Portal 2 and Battlefield 3. You are forgiven for nominating MW3 at all due to you and the people realizing the epicness that is Battlefield 3. With all the maps and game types, BF3 even beats COD in its own game! o_O I would have gone with Assassin's Creed Revelations for Original Music as the AC series, I believe, is the best game series right now. The likes of Mass Effect and etc are nothing compared to beasts such as AC. Kudos to the Baftas for picking the right winners and realizing what a faulty buggy mess Skyrim is and how lazy the animation and graphics team are for making a game look like that in the year 2012!! People might say Graphics don't make a game, but graphics like that are horrible in this day and age and are unexcusable."

tom

(16-49-2012)

"really lame that Skyrim did not win any award.. "

nialll mulcahy

(16-48-2012)

"dont care skyrim mw3 and fifa 12 were way better then battlefield!!!! "

Colby

(16-21-2012)

"All of these are great games to be sure, but where are all of the other fantastic games that came out last year? Are we playing politics or something?"

Emmet

(16-01-2012)

"No Driver San Francisco? A British developer too. Shame."

Rayner Healey

(16-01-2012)

"Skyrim totally deserves every award it's nominated for...its amazing.....I am really pleased for Batman: Arkham City as it looks absolutely fantastic...I hope it does well....However, i think Dark Souls should have been nominated for design...Its the best game i've ever played and it's a shame it only has 2 nominations....I hope it wins 1 :D"

Mike Geileskey

(16-30-2012)

"Dark Souls should have been nominated for more categories, especially artistic achievement. It's one of the most rewarding and challenging games I've ever played."

Sudeep Gupta

(16-59-2012)

"The Elder Scrolls Skyrim deserves to be at No.1 Position."

parth

(15-58-2012)

"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Bethesda Game Studios/Bethesda Softworks Europe"

sunil

(15-58-2012)

"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Bethesda Game Studios/Bethesda Softworks Europe"

Applemord

(12-50-2012)

"MINECRAFT! PLEASE TELL ME YOU ARE JOKING! AND WHERE IS FORZA 4?!"

Avo

(08-04-2012)

"Awesome nomination. RIFT is the best 2011 debut game of Trion and 1 of the best mmorpg."

Nehal Kalita

(08-04-2012)

"Batman Arkham City is eligible for the best game award of 2011 and he bes action game award. Even if Skyrim has shown its rue colors, but Arkham City allows the user to control Batman with few keys and perform combats. In Skyrim, the world is too big so the players neeed o walk idle for long distance searching for clue. But arkham ciy's got clues in every corner of the world, which allows any player to roam around as Batman by gliding around or as Catwoman by leaping from building to building. This facilities of Arkham City does not make any player weared up when not playing any mission."

JD

(08-30-2012)

"The reason some games aren't here could be due to the fact that publishers/developers have to enter their game in to the awards and, as far as I know, you have to pay to enter. Perhaps CD Projekt didn't want to pay to enter The Witcher 2."

Ajmed Singh

(27-16-2012)

"hello, i think that portal 2 should win cause it i very cool yes no?"

Sorafell

(27-13-2012)

"The Public Game Award's bound to go to COD or FIFA, when it should go to Portal 2 or Uncharted. Minecraft seems a bit like David vs 9 Goliath's so we'll see how that goes :) Also where's Forza 4 for best sport? "

Atkana

(24-30-2012)

"To be honest, I don't think Skyrim deserves a place in most of the categories it's in. I can see Minecraft and Stephen Merchant doing well, though."

SULASKAN

(21-36-2012)

"UNCHARTED 3 ITS THE BEST GAME EVER "

TheTruth

(21-36-2012)

"@Clarence, Tucker, Ramirez God some of you people are whiney! I like how some of you seem to think your complete experts in game design and awards nominations! Oh and how their opinion obviously counts for everyone! On topic tho my vote goes to Arkham city but I think cod will win it cos that game has a huge fan base!"

NawtyGurlCam

(20-31-2012)

"omg i luv u skyRIM"

Bezee

(20-23-2012)

"Skyrim has the best story amongst other nominees, I hope it wins all its nominations. Whats up with portal 2 for Action???"

CostaBr33ze

(20-22-2012)

"Where is the Witcher 2 ? Just because it was a polish-german co-production it gets ignored. Shame on you Bafta!"

Björn

(20-22-2012)

"Wow. These lists are just awful."

Clarence Worley

(20-22-2012)

"Game Innovation award shouldn't go to a sequel. Original Music award should go to an original game not a sequel to a recent franchise. Best Game should have Uncharted 3 in the line up considering it's in practically every other category. There should be another award for Easiest Boss Battles and Game With The Most Gimmicky Extras and Arkham City should win both of them. Almost every game has strategy but Deus Ex? It's not like it's drenched in it. Skyrim should be in the Best Game nominations considering the size of the beast and how well it's been developed to fit onto one disc. Lastly, I agree, Witcher 2 anyone?"

Clarence Worley

(20-21-2012)

"Oh and good to see The Nightjar get some recognition... actually it's amazing to see that!"

Howard Clarke

(20-21-2012)

"Uncharted 3 should be in the mix for best game! "

Matthew

(20-20-2012)

"Uncharted 3 for best Game!"

Mr Goron

(20-20-2012)

"How Skyward Sword is not up for original music is completely beyond me. Also, why is Mario Kart 7 in the family category? It's a handheld game! It should be up for best HANDHELD game and best multiplayer too."

bewarethespaceman.com

(20-19-2012)

"LA Noire is very ambitious but it is far too buggy to win any awards. Its flawed at best. Arkham City however is as close to perfection as exists in gaming."

Tucker

(20-19-2012)

"Uncharted 3 is a no show for best game BUT at least you guys nominated L.A Noire and FIFA 12 .... *clap* *clap* *clap* Oh and what's this? Gears of War 3 and Assassins Creed: Revelations are recognised for multiplayer but Uncharted 3 again is a no no. THANKS FOR THE LAUGH BAFTA :] And that's not all. You nominated Skyrim for best story as well?! Gold Star guys, you are really thinking this through ;D"

LixxieB

(20-18-2012)

"Extremely happy to see Bastion get nominated! A marvellously beautiful game :)"

Jim .A

(20-18-2012)

"Withcer 2??? Gears of war 3?? Are you serious you lefting those 2 games out?"

Ryan Pollard

(16-38-2012)

"I'm happy about the list and I do hope that Batman: Arkham City wins the awards, particularly Best Game. It has helped revolustionise games as Arkham City was, to me, not just a another video game. It was an interactive movie."

bomberby

(16-38-2012)

"Ramirez i thought the same thing where is the witcher 2 i mean the graphics and story where way beter then skyrim.."

Ramirez

(16-03-2012)

"Where is The Witcher 2? Oh and Skyrim for best story, that's hilarious. Also get rid of Dark Souls and Deus Ex from strategy and put them in Design."
