The BAFTA Ones To Watch award in association with Dare To Be Digital : The Academy is committed to recognising up-and-coming talent in Video Games and the Dare to be Digital competition, originated by Abertay University, represents the perfect means of doing that. Out of the twelve teams that will be judged during Dare ProtoPlay at August's Edinburgh Interactive Festival, three teams will be rewarded; one on the basis of innovation and creativity, one for its game’s market potential and one for the use of technology. These three chosen teams will then form the shortlist for the BAFTA Ones to Watch Award which will be presented at the British Academy Games Awards.
