"I'm so thrilled for Stephen Dillane. His portrayal of Anthony Hurndall was marvellous and very touching. "
Portia Paige
(29-43-2009)
"I am so happy that Stephen Dillane finally won a BAFTA. Dillane has many admirers in the US especially since his fine portrayal of Thomas Jefferson In the HBO series "John Adams" (for which he should have won something!). Congratulations to Mr. Dillane and we look forward to seeing him in future productions on stage and in films."

"I haven't seen the awards show yet, hopefully we will see it in oz, but good to see results on your website, pleased that the Bill won its section against worthy competition, anyone nominated should feel honoured."
Cerridwen Connelly
(29-43-2009)
"I can't believe that the iconic Gavin and Stacy wasn't even nominated! Treni drwg iawn!"
Eve
(27-03-2009)
"I was disappointed that June Brown didn't win but I was glad that The Bill won Continuing Drama. I thought that the whole night was a success."
Linda Cottan
(27-05-2009)
"Well done to Richard Cottan, Wallander was brillaint and I look forward to the next series. As the most nominated person of the evening (Hancock And Joan, best drama, actor and actress), I salute you!!"
Kate
(27-05-2009)
"Well, after watching the awards ceremony last night, all I can say is that, with only one or two exceptions, the quality of programmes that win awards is appalling. How can drivel like The X Factor beat a class programme like QI or Harry Hill beat Stephen Fry ????? . . . . . but, as has been said elsewhere, some people know quality when they see it, even if BAFTA don't . . . . . And as someone who watches a lot of tv, I'd love to know where some of the programmes have been hiding - I don't recollect even hearing of half of them"

(27-05-2009)
"It was wonderful that "Outnumbered" featured in the candidates in several of the categorises. A wonderful collection of actors and and scripts that eventually ran to close to the judges own life style happenings. Deserved much more than just nominations "
Deanna
(27-05-2009)
"DAVID TENNANT SHOULD HAVE WON BOTH BAFTAS...HE'S TOO GOOD OF AN ACTOR TO NOT HAVE WON!!!"
MRSFD
(27-04-2009)
"And what about "Little Dorrit" ??? Can't believe it didn't get a nomination here! "
Lucy
(25-12-2009)
"Why isn't David Tennant in the best actor category? Surely he should be at the very least nominated."
Nikki
(06-56-2009)
"I can not believe that Ruth Jones or James Corden have not been nominated in any catagory this year! Is this because of the comment he made at last years awards? They have done brilliantly with their 2nd series and Christmas special and are not even listed. I found this astonishing!!!"
Rachael Bates
(06-09-2009)
"So pleased to see The Daily Show with Jon Stewart being nominated for International! It's hilarious! 30 Rock, however, is the single best programme on television. Very disappointed that it has been overlooked. Just have a look at the American award shows. It's getting every award, and it deserves it! :)"
Tamsin
(30-33-2009)
"Please, PLEASE let the IT Crowd win this time!"
Shannon
(30-33-2009)
"Nice list of Nominees this year. Yaay, Casualty's back up again! I really hope they win an Award because they put so much hard work in to producing such a popular and exellent show (:"
Carole
(26-11-2009)
"I'm thrilled to see Jason Isaacs get a nomination for "The Curse of Steptoe". It was a brilliant piece by BBC4. However, the competition is excellent and it will be a difficult choice for BAFTA voters. ONYA Jason! Hooroo, Carole in Oz"
Suzanne
(25-20-2009)
"So glad to see Jonathan Ross nominated. It's time for the small minority of moaners to move on. He is a brilliant entertainer. "
Elaine
(24-49-2009)
"Glad to see Ken Stott and Maxine Peake nominated. I thought Hancock and Joan was BAFTA-worthy as before I had even finished watching it. Ken Stott had Tony Hancock's mannerisms, particularly the "on stage" scenes were just right and his final scene showed what a good actor he is."
Ms Lill
(24-21-2009)
"David Tennant is sadly overlooked again, even after some fantastic work in Einstein and Eddington and Doctor Who - programmes that are both up for BAFTA's themselves. What a shame after last year being shamefully left out for a powerful performance in Recovery to miss out again. "
Benjamin Broekaert
(24-16-2009)
"Where is Trevor Eve's nomination for Most Sincerely? He gave the best performance of all the Curse of Comedy season drama's. Now then: Ken Stott and Andrea Riseborough to win actor and actress."
Helen Jones
(24-45-2009)
"Where's "Britain's Got The Pop Factor ???". Best comedy of 2008, 6 million viewers & rip-roaring laughter all the way through. It was genius."
robert reaper
(24-46-2009)
"I can't believe "NOT GOING OUT" has not been nominated. It's the best sit-com in the last 20 years!"
