So here is my last blog for BAFTA. Big Babies didn't win best comedy unfortunately, but a great show did win it, so congratulations to Horrible Histories.

It was a great night but it started with embarrassment. Jon (Director), Martin (Rocco) and I walked up the red carpet past the photographers. Only one flash went off. I looked across at the Photographer and realised the camera had accidentally gone of in his hand. Gutted.

Brian Cant gave a brilliantly funny and emotional speech that went down well with everyone.

The ceremony itself was good. Host Barney did a good job, as did Mr. Gary Barlow! My sister is annoyed I didn't speak to him. Brian Cant gave a brilliantly funny and emotional speech that went down well with everyone. The standing ovation thoroughly deserved.

We were on our best behaviour until the disco. I am aware that the term 'Disco' is terribly out dated but I refuse to say 'Rave'. Although our behaviour on the dance floor was similar to my younger days at happy hardcore nights in Plymouth in the mid 90's. So Jon, Martin, and our executive producer Jack and I embarked on some very sweaty dancing. Jack has since named the 'disco' part of the night: 'Planet Wedding'.

I would like to thank BAFTA for the nomination and a genuinely enjoyable evening. Well done to all the winners, and a special well done to all the losers.

Hopefully our behaviour on the dance floor hasn't affected our chances of getting a second series of Big Babies...

It’s Wednesday night, the 24th of November. “Four more sleeps until Sunday”. I sound like my niece at Christmas. Jon has just bought a nice suit that makes him look like a member of Kasabian but I’ve still not had my suit dry cleaned. It doesn’t make me look like I’m in Kasabian though. It makes me look like a wedding singer. Will there be Karaoke at the BAFTAs? I wouldn’t mind seeing Tracy Beaker and Mister Tumble do ‘Greased Lightening’.

It’s been a standard week for both, just working and all that jazz. Only occasionally daydreaming about what might be on Sunday. But all we can do now is wait. There’s nothing that can be done to enhance our chances, we just have to ‘Keep Calm And Carry On’ (as it says on the t-shirt).

Truth be told we don’t think we are going to win. The competition is just too tough. We are just looking forward to a couple of drinks some food and a boogie. That reminds me, karaoke, I wonder if they've got 'Loser by' Beck? Who's with me?

When Jon and I first got the news that Big Babies had been nominated we were stunned! We never expected it. And from talking to everyone else, who worked so hard on the show, it’s clear everyone is chuffed to bits. We worked with a massive team on the series, a fantastic cast and crew. We were very lucky to work with not only our good friends but also top-notch BBC bods, Jack Cheshire, Japhet Asher and Catherine Gosling Fuller. On top of that we got to work with Sharon Horgan!

We are all a bit new to all this so we’re genuinely bowled over by the nomination

When you look at the other nominations, it’s exciting to be in a list with Dick and Dom, Horrible Histories and Sorry, I’ve Got No Head. These are brilliant shows!

We are all a bit new to all this so we’re genuinely bowled over by the nomination. Really looking forward to the 28th. Better get that suit dry cleaned…
