Best known for playing the young George Bailey in It’s A Wonderful Life (1946), Anderson also had roles in such films as Magic Town (1947), The Bishop’s Wife (1947) and Ruthless (1948). He later moved behind the camera and ended his career as an assistant director in film and television.
