Interviewed on stage by games expert Andy Nuttall, Nolan tracks the development of the video game industry and examines the future possibilities of gaming.

Interspersed with clips of classic games both past and present, Nolan speaks with passion about the stereotypes of video gaming before answering questions submitted by video games fans on the BAFTA website.

Having overseen the release of Atari’s two-player tennis game Pong in 1972, Nolan Bushnell is widely credited as kick-starting both the arcade and home console industries. With over 30 years' experience of creating interactive and social entertainment technologies he remains at the forefront of the gaming world.

At the GAME British Academy Video Games Awards, Nolan was presented with the Academy’s highest honour, the Fellowship, and we were delighted to welcome him to BAFTA Headquarters for this exclusive A Life in Video Games event.
