With a career spanning over thirty years Streep has produced some of cinema's most iconic performances including roles in The French Lieutenant's Woman, Kramer V. Kramer, Sophie's Choice, Out of Africa and The Hours.

In January 2009 Meryl Streep came to the Academy to discuss her life in pictures. Interviewed on stage by presenter Mariella Frostrup, the multi BAFTA-winning actress gave a unique insight into her extraordinary career – from starting out on stage to her recent performances in Mamma Mia!, Doubt and Julie & Julia.
