BAFTA Meets Gregg Sulkin

Gregg Sulkin, star of the BAFTA Kids' Vote-winning TV show; Wizards of Waverly Place talks about how he got into acting.

Wizards of Waverly Place was voted the top television programme of 2010 in last year’s BAFTA Kids’ Vote, but what is it about this Disney TV show that got the votes sky rocketing? Could it be to do with charming British star of the show; Gregg Sulkin?

BAFTA met the teenage actor to find out...

To get the bafta kids’ vote was huge - we try and make the show as good as we can for the fans.

Gregg explains that he first stumbled into acting when he was 13 because he wanted to please his mum. From then on, his love of the whole experience meant there was no going back.

According to Gregg, acting is more about having fun and enjoying the experience than being famous. But he takes acting seriously too and explains that playing a werewolf is a surprisingly technical process. Sometimes it involves spending up to an hour in make-up!
