William Nicholson, Moira Buffini, John Logan, Guillermo Arriaga, Frank Cottrell Boyce, Paul Laverty and Charlie Kaufman all took to the stage this year to share their insights on the art of screenwriting.
This year's Screenwriters' Lecture Series with the BFI and The JJ Charitable Trust was an unequivocal success, with William Nicholson (Gladiator), Moira Buffini (Tamara Drewe), John Logan (Coriolanus), Guillermo Arriaga (Amores Perros), Frank Cottrell Boyce (24 Hour Party People), Paul Laverty (My Name Is Joe) and Charlie Kaufman (Being John Malkovich) all delivering inspirational lectures to a captive audience.
Whilst we prepare the full transcripts and videos from each event, there's plenty to be inspired by in the meantime.
