On 1 November 2009, artist come director Sam Taylor-Wood came to the Academy to discuss her first feature film; Nowhere Boy which tells the story of Beatles founder John Lennon as he grows up in the shattered city of Liverpool.
Taylor-Wood is joined by cast members Kristin Scott Thomas (who plays Lennon's Aunt Mimi) and Anne-Marie Duff (Lennon's mother Julia) along with the film's producer Robert Bernstein and writer Matt Greenhalgh.
