On 13 October 2009 Actor Colin Firth and first time Director Tom Ford came to BAFTA to speak about their film, A Single Man Film.

The film tells the story of George Falconer, a British college professor who is struggling to find meaning in his life after the death of his long-time partner, Jim. A Single Man earned Firth the leading actor award at 2010's BAFTA ceremony.
