JK Simmons: Thank you to the British Academy. And at the risk of being repetitious, thank you to Damien Chazelle for the gift of this character, to me and for the gift of this movie to the world. Thank you to Miles Teller for always being present in the moment. Well, except he is not present tonight I guess but ... up until now.
