London, 5 August 2015: The British Academy of Film and Television Arts announced today a list of key dates for the EE British Academy Film Awards in 2016. As previously announced, the ceremony will take place on Sunday 14 February at The Royal Opera House in London’s Covent Garden.

2015
Monday 9 November – Entry deadline
Wednesday 9 December – Round One voting opens
Thursday 17 December – Qualified films must screen to BAFTA members before this date
2016
Monday 4 January – Round One voting closes (12.00 GMT)
Wednesday 6 January – EE Rising Star Award Nominations Announcement
Friday 8 January – Nominations Announcement; Round Two voting opens
Wednesday 10 February – Round Two voting closes (18.00 GMT)
Friday 12 February – Latest date for entered films to have been on general release
Sunday 14 February – EE British Academy Film Awards
