Domhnall Gleeson on the red carpet at Guild Hall, East Hampton before the screening of Shadow Dancer. BAFTA New York along with co-sponsors British Consulate-General New York and BBC America kicked off the inaugural Focus on UK Film event at the 20th Annual Hamptons International Film Festival. The first film screened on Friday was "Shadow Dancer" a spy thriller set during "the troubles" in Northern Ireland.

Powerful filmmaking with a "can't take your eyes off" performance by Andrea Riseborough. The audience watching at Guild Hall in East Hampton was glued. One of the stars of the film, Domhall Gleeson was present and spoke before the screening. The film also stars Clive Owen, Gillian Anderson, and Aiden Gillen.
