BAFTA New York at The Friars Club - BAFTA Sit Com Awards

Ricky Gervais, James Corden, Stephen Merchant and Steve Coogan are all British comedians who created and appeared in their own Situation Comedies and have been winners of BAFTA Situation Comedy Awards.

We saw some of Britain's finest new comedy talent first at our screening of the four nominees for this year's BAFTA Situation Comedy Award. But it’s not just the talent, we also previewed new formats and ideas for comedy programming long before they arrived on television in the States, and some of them never make it here at all!

At the legendary Friars Club we screened the four finalists for this Award,
