Susan Wagner, Membership Director

Susan Wagner spent a summer during college observing the production of "Q.E.D.," the first-ever television series made in the UK for an American broadcast network, and has been drawn to British production ever since.

She is currently President of Boardwalk Entertainment, a small independent development, production and consulting company founded by her father, industry veteran Alan Wagner. Her production credits include series and films for CBS, NBC, ABC, Lifetime, USA Network and syndication, as well as a UK-co-produced film for HBO, Reunion at Fairborough.

Projects in development range from a feature written to be shot in Europe and a handful of other low-to-medium budget feature projects, a documentary series, a dramatic series written by a well-known British television writer, a musical film aimed at a tween/teen audience, and a variety of other ventures.

In addition to her role as a Director of BAFTA New York, where she has focused on membership, screenings and events, she served for three years on the board of New York Women in Film and Television, for which organization she still produces the popular Power Player Breakfast series. She serves on the selection committee for the Hamptons Film Festival's "To The Point" short film program, and has been a judge for the New York Jewish Women's Film Festival for each of its four iterations.

In her spare time, she helps clients makes rapid and lasting change as a certified clinical hypnotist.
