Kevin Wilson, Jr. is a New York based filmmaker and an MFA Candidate in New York University's Graduate Film Program. Wilson first emerged as a rising talent in 2009 when he directed multiple sold out performances of his debut play "The Emmett Till Story," a brutal depiction of the 1955 murder of Emmett Till.
Since that time Wilson has directed a number of award winning short films and documentaries. Wilson's most recent short film "My Nephew Emmett" has been selected to screen at a number of Oscar Qualifying Film Festivals and is currently a Finalist for the 44th Student Academy Awards.
Wilson is currently in development for his first feature film which is slated to go into production in the Summer of 2018.
