On Thursday 23 March, 2017, BAFTA New York Woman of Her Word Disabilities Scholar Shannon Ryan was interviewed for the Insight radio show on New York’s Progressive Radio Network. Shannon is a first year student at Brooklyn College’s Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema, working on her MFA in producing.
Shannon Ryan will undoubtedly write and direct highly informative and entertaining films in the future though now as a shinning graduate student at Brooklyn College’s Barry R. Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema and recipient of Woman of Her Word Disabilities scholarship (awarded by Michele Spitz), Shannon explains how she is furthering her vast skill set that includes incorporating her keen perspective and resiliency as an indomitable woman with multiple disabilities including hearing and visual impairments.
