Winner's acceptance speech by Wunmi Mosaku for Damilola, Our Loved Boy in the Supporting Actress category
WUNMI MOSAKU: Thank you, BAFTA. I wanted to thank my mum, my sisters, Shaheen Baig, my agents, the BBC, the late Bill Gaskill, all of whom have nurtured me in my career, to this point. Okay. I did actually write something ... Euros, Sue, Colin, thank you so much for trusting me and leading us so gently, and Levi for your beautiful script. It was an honour to be a part of this, to stand next to brother Babou and Sammy and Juma and Juwon -- it was just incredible. And our team, they worked so hard, especially make-up. They were there for an hour and a half every day, ageing Babou and I -- gracefully, hopefully! You know, I just wanted to thank the Taylors for your courage and honesty, and dedication to our youth and for sharing your story and Damilola's story and your journey. So this is so bittersweet and I would like to dedicate this to the memory of Damilola and his mother, Gloria. And thank you so much. Thank you.
