Winner's acceptance speech by Sergio Pablos for Klaus in the Animated Film category
SERGIO PABLOS: That's pretty amazing. Bear with me while I try to get through this while my knees are shaking.
First of all, thank you to everybody who made this possible: Atresmedia for giving us that first boost; Netflix, who bet on this film when nobody else would; and everybody who flocked from all around the world to come to Madrid and come to this unlikely little film. I'm proud to say they are by far the most incredible crew I have ever worked this. This goes to them.
I'm also very proud to say that they were the most diverse crew we ever worked with: 22 countries, 15 languages spoken, almost gender parity.
