Screenwriters’ Lecture Series Broadcast on Sky Arts 1

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) today announced that it will be working with Sky Arts 1 for the very first time, broadcasting the second BAFTA and BFI Screenwriters' Lecture Series every Thursday for seven weeks, starting tomorrow at 8pm with William Nicholson (Gladiator, Shadowlands).

The region's biggest celebration of the British videogames industry, Games Britannia, is giving people the chance to ask a panel of industry experts about the issues facing the industry at a free event at Sheffield Hallam University. For the first time ever, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) are bringing their Games Question Time event to a venue outside of London.

BAFTA TV Debate: Is Structured Reality Corrupting Documentary?

As part of a refreshed strand of debates on issues of importance to the UK film, television and games industries, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) will host a discussion on the evolving face of television documentary and ask the question: Is structured reality corrupting documentary? BAFTA is a neutral space for debate and discussion of major issues affecting the industry.
