Beijing, 12 November 2015: The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), supported by M.A.C Cosmetics, hosted two masterclasses today with BAFTA-nominated hair and make up designer Naomi Donne, who demonstrated her artistry at The Peninsula Beijing.

In front of an audience of make up artists from across Asia, Ms Donne showed off some of the looks she created for three hit films: Cinderella, Chocolat, and the current Bond blockbuster Spectre. She then discussed her craft and career with an audience that included leading figures in the Chinese film industry.

Naomi Donne is a British-born, BAFTA-nominated make up designer with an impressive body of work from a career that spans over 30 years. In addition to the films mentioned above, Ms Donne has worked on many critically-acclaimed hits including The Royal Tenenbaums, Philomena and Bond films Quantum of Solace and Skyfall.

The masterclasses are part of BAFTA’s ongoing programme in China that aims to encourage creative collaboration between the UK and Asia by bringing together talented individuals from the film, television and games industries to share their skills and expertise.

The EE British Academy Film Awards takes place on Monday 14 February 2016 and will be shown on Youku in China. Nominations are announced on 8 January 2016.
