BAFTA Los Angeles welcomed the team behind the new British Titanic miniseries for a special preview screening of Julian Fellowes' account of the 1912 maritime tragedy.
Joined by cast members Linus Roache, Sophie Winkleman and Noah Reid, the sold-out event in West Los Angeles saw producers Nigel Stafford-Clark and Simon Vaughan present the first two episodes of the new mini-series to BAFTA Members and Guests.

The team also confirmed during the post-screening Q&A that the series will air in the US on ABC on the weekend of April 14th and 15th, the 100th anniversary of the sinking.
The evening was hosted by BAFTA Los Angeles, in partnership with Lookout Point and ITV Studios, and with special support from event sponsors Pelican who provided guest with complimentary samples from their range of watertight protective cases and submersible flashlights.
Similar evenings were held by BAFTA New York and BAFTA London, and the evening was part of the expansion of BAFTA Los Angeles' Television Events. As well as recent screenings of Eddie Izzard's Treasure Island, there are plans to host evenings for Masterpiece Theater's Birdsong, Showtime's Episodes, and the new series of Wallander.
