BAFTA LA/ gettyimages The Britannia Awards are BAFTA Los Angeles’ highest accolade, a celebration of achievements honoring individuals and companies that have dedicated their careers to advancing the entertainment arts.

The ceremony was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel with a stellar list of presenters and guests including Harrison Ford, Steven Spielberg, Olivia Munn, Lucy Davis, Bérénice Marlohe, Stephen Merchant and Jane Seymour.

This year's recipients

Daniel Day-Lewis
Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film.

Daniel Craig
Britannia Award for British Artist of the Year.

Quentin Tarantino
John Schlesinger Britannia Award for Excellence in Directing.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone
Charlie Chaplin Britannia Award for Excellence in Comedy.

Will Wright
Albert R. Broccoli Britannia Award for Worldwide Contribution to Entertainment.

Proceeds from the gala ceremony support BAFTA Los Angeles’ on-going education, scholarship, community outreach and archival projects.

For the first time ever, the BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards were broadcast in primetime on BBC AMERICA, airing on November 11, 2012 as a two-hour special, preceded by the Britannia Awards Red Carpet Special.
