Earlier this year, BAFTA Los Angeles was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of long-time friend and former Board Member, Ian Abercrombie. Memorial details have now been confirmed.

BAFTA Los Angeles is pleased to announce that Board Member Neil Stiles has been elected Chairman by the Board of Directors. Gary Dartnall will serve as Deputy Chair and Nigel Daly as Secretary. Paul Steinke was re-elected as treasure, while outgoing chair and Nigel Lythgoe will occupy a fifth seat on the Executive Committee.

Congratulations to BAFTA Los Angeles Member Katy Haber, who was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Arts Degree from the University of Bedfordshire on 16th November 2011.
