The winning filmmaker also receives access to BAFTA's extensive program of events as they develop their career.

The Garden Party

Hosted annually, the Garden Party celebrates the continuing success of BAFTA in Los Angeles and offers Members a chance to gather with their friends, peers and colleagues.

Currently held at the home of the British Consul General, the serene gardens offer an intimate setting for Members to enjoy champagne, taste great food, and have the chance to take home a plethora of spectacular items from our Silent Auction.

The Tea Parties

The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Parties have a long tradition of recognizing the very best filmmaking talent. The Awards Season Tea Party is held the Saturday prior to the Golden Globes, and The TV Tea, honoring those nominated for an Emmy Award and the UK talent working in US television, is held the Saturday prior to the Emmy Awards.

A staple fixtures in the Awards season calendar, these hugely popular events allow Members and guests to relax and enjoy themselves in an intimate setting and are hugely popular with Nominees seeking a respite from the hectic and demanding Awards season.
