New Board of Directors

We are pleased to share with you that following our membership election, Adam Bialow and Louise Chater have been elected to serve a new term on the BAFTA LA Board of Directors.

They join Chair Kathryn Busby, Deputy Chair Karl Stewart, Secretary Gary Goldberger, Treasurer Phil Cross, and Tara Halloran, Alexa Jago, Melissa Myers, Sandro Monetti, Roy Taylor, and Nina Wolarsky to serve on the 2020 Board of Directors. They will work alongside CEO Matthew Wiseman, our Staff, and the members of the Committees.

Adam Bialow is a consultant in the area of business affairs and theatrical stage productions, and previously held executive positions at Lionsgate and Elisabeth Murdoch's Shine International. He has also served as a member of the Britannia Awards production team for the past 9 years.

Louise Chater is a film executive with over 20 years’ experience in International strategy and research. She is currently leading the Viewer Experience (VX) project for Sony Pictures Entertainment, using a combination of biometrics, facial reaction and audio cues to explore how audiences engage with content in real time.

We would also like to place on record our deep appreciation for all of the candidates who stepped forward with willingness to serve on our Board.
