BAFTA Los Angeles is hosting a special segment at the LA Games Conference this month.
Held on April 18 and 19 at the Roosevelt Hotel, the conference features a fireside chat with Zynga’s Barry Cottle, two keynotes by Playstation’s Christopher Mahoney and Electronic Arts’ Pascal Brochier, and 2 tracks filled with panels, demos and presentations on digital game creation, distribution, monetization and marketing.
BAFTA Members are eligible for a special registration discount for the entire event.
We will be presenting a BAFTA Los Angeles Roundtable: Unraveling The Real Impact of Games Awards.
The session will be a candid discussion about the state of the video games industry and the significance of awards to the business. While Film & TV accolades continue to play a crucial role in commercializing and boosting a studio's revenue, do Games awards have the same effect, and if so, what could it mean for the industry?
The session will be moderated by Alison Haislip, with panelists James Waugh (Franchise Development, Blizzard Entertainment), Jenova Chen (Co-Founder & Creative Director, thatgamecompany), Marc Graser (Senior Writer, Variety) and Jennie Kong (SVP Digital Entertainment, Miller PR).
Our session will be presented at 4.30pm followed by a reception.
To attend the event at the special BAFTA membership rate, please sign-up using the special code BAFTALA25 for 25% off the registration fee.
We look forward to seeing you there.
