Kevin Feige to receive the Albert R. Broccoli Britannia Award for Worldwide Contribution to Entertainment

We are pleased to announce that Marvel Studios President and Producer Kevin Feige will receive the Albert R. Broccoli Britannia Award for Worldwide Contribution to Entertainment at the 2018 British Academy Britannia Awards. He joins previously announced honorees Steve McQueen, who will receive the John Schlesinger Britannia Award for Excellence in Directing, and Cate Blanchett, who will receive the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film.

This year’s ceremony will take place on Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel and will be presented by American Airlines.

“Kevin has propelled the Marvel brand to new heights, harnessing the very best international talent, with an unprecedented track record of back-to-back success. We are honored to recognize him with this year’s Albert R. Broccoli Britannia Award for Worldwide Contribution to Entertainment,” said BAFTA Los Angeles Chairman Kieran Breen. 

Recipients of The Albert R. Broccoli Britannia Award for Excellence in Worldwide Entertainment are that rare type of iconic and trail-blazing individuals whose innovative approach has had a profound, lasting impact on the global industry. Past recipients include Kenneth Brannagh (2017), Samuel L. Jackson (2016), Harrison Ford (2015), Dame Judi Dench (2014), Sir Ben Kingsley (2013), and more.
