The BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards in 2012

The star-studded Britannia Awards saw Alan Cumming host the annual event and bestow honors on Daniel Day-Lewis, Daniel Craig, Quentin Tarantino, Will Wright and Trey Parker & Matt Stone.

The Britannias in 2012: Honorees' Green RoomBAFTA LA/ gettyimages The Britannia Awards are BAFTA Los Angeles’ highest accolade, a celebration of achievements honoring individuals and companies that have dedicated their careers to advancing the entertainment arts.

The ceremony was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel with a stellar list of presenters and guests including Harrison Ford, Steven Spielberg, Olivia Munn, Lucy Davis, Bérénice Marlohe, Stephen Merchant and Jane Seymour.

Proceeds from the gala ceremony support BAFTA Los Angeles’ on-going education, scholarship, community outreach and archival projects.

For the first time ever, the BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards were broadcast in primetime on BBC AMERICA, airing on November 11, 2012 as a two-hour special, preceded by the Britannia Awards Red Carpet Special.
