Heritage Archive

preserving the legacy of our most admired and celebrated colleagues...

Our Heritage Archive is creating a living history of remarkable individuals in the film and television industries.

The BAFTA Los Angeles Heritage Archive produces and preserves in-depth interviews with film and television professionals who have had a substantial career in the British film and television industry. These recorded living histories preserve the legacy of our most admired and celebrated colleagues for scholars, historians and future generations of filmmakers.

The Los Angeles Board of Directors, assisted by a contribution in memory of director Alexander Mackendrick, established the Heritage Archive in 1998. It currently includes numerous interviews with many notable artists from every branch of the art and craft of film and television.

BAFTA Los Angeles thanks the Dana and Albert Broccoli Charitable Foundation for its contributions to the Heritage Archives, and to all the many Members and friends who continue to support this project.
