BAFTA Rocliffe TV Drama Writing Showcase with Hugo Blick and Greg Brenman: Call for Entries

6 January 2016
BAFTA/Scott Kershaw

BAFTA and Rocliffe are calling for scripts for the BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing forum focused on Television Drama.

The competition offers entrants the chance to present their work to influential members of the television industries.

This competition is open to all writers, resident in the UK or of UK citizenship. Entries must be extracts from completed TV Drama teleplays.

The Prize includes three projects to be showcased at an event at BAFTA, becoming part of the BAFTA Rocliffe Alumni, which gives you access to bespoke and exclusive masterclasses and industry introductions offering a wide range of development opportunities including mini-forum workshops and support. All entrants receive a Submission Report from our readers which gives them feedback on their entry (outside the competition these cost £40). Selected writers are offered a full-length script report of their redrafted script six months post event so they can incorporate notes. BAFTA & Rocliffe are looking for new talent that shows real potential to be supported and developed.

This year, our industry guests will be BAFTA-winning writer, producer and director Hugo Blick (The Honourable Woman, The Shadow Line), and BAFTA-winning producer Greg Brenman (The Honourable Woman, Doctor Foster).

Final Deadline for submissions – 10:00am 8 February 2016

Entry Fees: £42 (includes a submission report)
