Generation Next 2015

In 2015 the programme covered non scripted genres – features, factual entertainment, entertainment, documentary, factual and current affairs. The sessions in 2015 were pitched at a higher level to those in previous years; so that delegates’ focus of the day would be career evaluation and professional development.

What our delegates had to say…

“Fascinating stories from directors and was amazing to meet such a bigwig in Endemol.”

“The creative dream were very informative. It felt like a crash course in development. Really good.”

“Access all areas : amazing speakers with some fascinating stories to tell!”

“It was a really inspiring day, to get to hear so many brilliant professionals speak in such a short space of time!”

“The Creative Dream Team was a stand out for me - the interactivity and hands-on work was great, and the team were brilliant.”

“Charlotte Moore's talk was also extremely insightful and honest - v inspiring.”

“I really enjoyed the ‘How to Survive Working in Television’ session that gave us the harsh truth when answering our questions. This is what we need because it isn't all rainbows and sunshine in the industry.”

“I think the Gogglebox session was the most entertaining and informative. Since it is such a unique format I think everyone benefited from seeing how they thought outside the box - not just with the idea but with casting, production, etc.”

“Personally, I think the career clinic was the most worthwhile aspect of the day for me . It was incredibly useful to have an objective opinion about my CV, previous experience and future career prospects.”

“‘How to be a Top Researcher’ was incredibly inspiring, mainly because Joe and Hannah, the AP's who were invited to speak, were so good and worked in such interesting areas of TV.”

“My favourite was the production management session, really helpful and made me want to move forward in that career path.”
