To celebrate the EE British Academy Film Awards in 2013, BAFTA commissioned photographer Sarah Dunn to capture portraits of past BAFTA-winning talents.
These photographs form part of a larger BAFTA collection of past winners. The 2013 additions by Sarah Dunn focus specifically on on behind the scenes talent and crafts people.
British born Sarah Dunn received her first camera on her 8th birthday and has never looked back. Her professional career was launched in 1998 after a helping hand from Ewan McGregor and Cate Blanchett, both of whom contributed to Sarah's first professional portfolio.
Sarah’s love of cinema has always been the driving force behind her work making the BAFTA collaboration a unique, insightful and very fulfilling project.
When Sarah was selected to photograph entrepreneurs by The National Portrait Gallery in London it began a long running relationship. They are the only gallery to hold her archive.

Filmmaker Sir Alan Parker is the 2013 BAFTA Fellowship recipient in recogination of his hugely successful career in Film. His talent and vision has been responsible for a whole host of BAFTA-winning films over the years including Bugsy Malone (1976), Midnight Express (1978) and The Commitments (1991).

Christine Blundell is one of the British film industry’s most celebrated and in-demand make-up designers. Her film credits include Vera Drake (2004), Finding Neverland (2004), Sunshine (2007), Hippie Hippie Shake and The Boat That Rocked (2009). She won a BAFTA in 2000 for Topsy-Turvy (1999).

Glenn Freemantle is one of the UK's most experienced sound designers, with over 70 films to his credit having begun work in the cutting rooms at the age of 16.
His varied filmography includes The Beach (1999), Love Actually (2003), V for Vendetta (2005), 28 weeks Later (2007), and Golden Compass (2007). His first BAFTA nomination came in 1995 for Backbeat, followed by a second for 127 Hours in 2011. He won for Slumdog Millionaire in 2009.

Chris Dickens is a British film and television editor with more than 25 film credits. He spent his early career working in TV including a stint with director Edgar Wright on the television series Spaced.
He won a BAFTA in 2009 for his work on multi-BAFTA-winning film Slumdog Millionaire. He was also the editor on 2012 movie, Les Miserable

John Richardson has been in the film industry his entire career, working on special effects for films ranging from the James Bond series, to Aliens for which he won his first BAFTA in 1987.
He has worked as special effects supervisor on every film in the Harry Potter series and won his second BAFTA in 2012 for Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2.
Over the course of his career he has racked up two BAFTA wins and seven nominations.

Jacqueline Durran is a British costume designer and has designed for many highly acclaimed films including Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011), Another Year (2010) and Atonement (2007).
She won a BAFTA in 2005 for her costume work on Vera Drake and is nominated in 2013 for Anna Karenina.

British director Mike Newell has made several highly regarded films, including Donnie Brasco (1997), Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)and Great Expectations (2012).
One of his most successful films is Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994), which won five BAFTA Awards in 1995.

Katie Spencer is one of the most highly-regarded set decorators working in British film. She has worked on many of Joe Wright's films, including Pride and Prejudice (2005), Atonement (2007) and Anna Karenina (2012).
Alongside Sarah Greenwood, she won a BAFTA award for Production Design on Atonement.

Sarah Greenwood is a production designer who has been nominated for multiple Film and Television BAFTA awards, including mini-series Charles II: The Power And The Passion (2004) and Anna Karenina (2012). She won a Production Design BAFTA award alongside Katie Spencer for her work on Atonement (2007).

Nick Park is the mastermind behind everybody's favourite man and his dog, Wallace and Gromit. All four of the Wallace and Gromit shorts have won Best Short Animation at the BAFTA Film Awards. In 2006, Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005) won the Best British Film award.

Mark Herbert is one of the most acclaimed film and television producers working in Britain today. He worked with Shane Meadows and Chris Morris to produce their films including Dead Man's Shoes (2004) and Four Lions (2010).
