Wolfgang Suschitzky

An Austrian cinematographer who came to Britain in 1935, Suschitzky was a noted photographer before going on to shoot films including Get Carter (1971) and Theatre of Blood (1973). He was one of BAFTA’s earliest members in 1948, received a BAFTA Special Award in 2012, and was BAFTA nominated for Ulysses (1967), Worzel Gummidge (1979) and Staying On (1980).
