A Scottish producer whose career began in theatre before he became an associate producer on films such as Stormy Monday (1988), Wands’ later credits included East is East (1999) and The Magdalene Sisters (2002). He was also an accomplished assistant director on the likes of Shopping (1994) and Elizabeth: The Golden Age (2007).
