With experience drawn from a wide succession of popular BBC shows, Willson’s popularity transcended his lighting duties. He worked on programmes such as EastEnders (1985-), The House of Eliott (1991-94), the TV movie Tales From Hollywood (1992) and also made a scripted on-camera appearance in Rob Brydon’s Annually Retentive (2007).
