A universally beloved actor and comic known for his ability to excel in both comedy and drama, Williams came to prominence starring in the sitcom Mork & Mindy (1978-1982). He was BAFTA-nominated for his roles in Good Morning, Vietnam (1987) and Dead Poets Society (1989), and won an Oscar for Good Will Hunting (1997).
