Carlo Varini

A Swiss cinematographer who shot over 80 features during his 35-year career, Varini is best known for his work on films including Subway (1985), The Big Blue (1988) and The Chorus (2004). After studying cinema in Zurich, Varini became a news cameraman, graduating to assistant cameraman under Renato Berta before shooting his own features in the 1980s.
