A British executive and producer of music videos who worked with artists from Culture Club and The Sex Pistols to George Michael, Beyonce and Madonna, Watts joined Virgin Records in 1974 where she was appointed director of video production and commissioned a series of landmark music videos. She was eventually lured away to MTV where she oversaw the Channel’s European launch in 1986.
