Eric Sykes

Actor, Writer

A prolific comedy writer, Sykes achieved fame in the 1950s, working across a range of mediums in subsequent years. He starred in a self named BBC sitcom (1972-79), wrote and directed silent short The Plank (1979) as well as appearing in films including The Liquidator (1965) and The Others (2001).
