An animator at Disney for over 40 years, Stevens first joined the studio in 1939. Advancing through the ranks, he worked on such hits as Peter Pan (1953), One Hundred and One Dalmatians (1961) and Robin Hood (1973), and co-directed The Rescuers (1977) and The Fox and the Hound (1981).
