A versatile performer on stage and screen, Spinetti made notable appearances in The Beatles’ movies A Hard Day’s Night (1964) and Help! (1965). His other films include The Taming of the Shrew (1967) and Under Milk Wood (1972) with television work including Two In Clover (1969-70) and Super Ted (1982-84).
