Bob Spiers

27 September 1945 - 8 December 2008

Director

In a long career on British television, Spiers became most associated with high quality comedy, most notably the second series of Fawlty Towers (1979). Other credits include Dad’s Army (1977), It Ain’t Half Hot, Mum (1976), The Goodies (1977-82) and Absolutely Fabulous (1992-95). His feature credits include Spice World (1997).
